I have sent to Mycroft project a searchplugin for NEWT taxonomy browser.
This resource allows to search, with the searchplugin using scientific names or common names in English, information and relevant links in the Web about different organisms.

In order to improve the policy of multilingual support of this web site, I have added a few lines in the CSS file of the default theme. These lines:

a[hreflang]:after {
     font-weight: bold;
     font-size: 75%;
     content: " [" attr(hreflang) "]";
}

I read in jmones and pqs weblogs some thoughts on some interesting posts and positions about multilingual blogs and proper use of tags for this purpose.
When I updated this web site last time, I considered it already; and thanks to Drupal flexibility and modules such as Translation, I have been able to maintain documents in more than one language.

As I had previously quoted about Google, big companies from Computer technology and Internet fields, also contribute to research; even, in Bioinformatics.
It's several years since IBM started funding a Computational Biology Center in their Watson research centers.
