I have sent to Mycroft project a searchplugin for NEWT taxonomy browser.
This resource allows to search, with the searchplugin using scientific names or common names in English, information and relevant links in the Web about different organisms.
NEWT es based on NCBI taxonomic classification and it also offers all known proteins in UniProt databases for the searched organism.
